Let’s be honest though. Two main things probably come to mind when you hear the phrase “spring cleaning”. One being, I need to do that. And two, I don’t have time. The truth is, you don’t have to dedicate an entire weekend or even day to cleaning.
If you prefer to knock it all out at once- go for it! But it doesn’t have to be all or nothing. There is a more manageable way to get it done even when you don’t have a lot of time to spare.
Here is a spring cleaning checklist and tips to help!

How to Stay Motivated to Clean
I really do enjoy cleaning. And the reason for that is simple. It gives me a grateful attitude. When my motivation for cleaning is low, I try to remember Luke 12:48, To whom much is given, much will be required.
Go back to that feeling of when you very first moved into your home. The answered prayer! It doesn’t matter if it’s a temporary situation or your dream home- God has provided.
Delight in stewarding that blessing. Managing your blessings with a grateful heart will renew your heart’s position toward it and remind you of how faithful God is.
Just like the trees and flowers in full bloom, a good spring cleaning can help breathe some life back into your home after the dead of winter.
