Our Living Room Tour

Take a tour of our living room.

For the last month (or 2) I have been focused on decorating our living room. This is the area of our home where we spend the most time and entertain guests. So it was important to me that this area feel complete following our recent move.

Here’s the progress!

We love our sectional! It is super comfortable and easy to clean. You can also configure it pretty much any way you wish. Ours is linked / here / and we have the fabric shade Convert Ivory.

Eventually, I would like to emphasize the large blank wall behind our sectional. I am envisioning a raised-panel woodwork feature. Stay tuned!

I gave our fireplace a moody makeover while working on our living room and loved how it turned out. It delivers the contrast and drama that the room needed. Read more about it / here /.

And we happily call this room complete *for now* … of course, decorative pieces are ever evolving (and I would like to downsize our coffee table). Maybe I’ll also talk myself into hanging some roman shades as winter approaches- right now I just want all the sunshine.

But isn’t that the way decorating goes? I love the way we get to care for and constantly reimagine “home”.
