Hi, love.
Let’s get into new home photoshoot ideas for couples 🙂
When I was in college, the boss lady at my retail job gave me some great advice. She encouraged having professional photos taken once a year.
I am so glad that I held on to that piece of advice. What a treasure it is to look back on past photoshoots and to see how life, along with its backdrops, has changed for us. It gives you a lot to be grateful for.
God and the camera lens have seen us through many seasons from engagement, marriage before kids, dogs, new homes, and new baby.
One of our most favorite sessions has to be our New Home photoshoot.
In this post, I am throwing it back to January 2020 for the big change of selling our first home and moving into a new one. A new home and a new season of life.
And while these pictures are special to me, I also want to share them as photo ideas for couples that may be interested in documenting a similar season.
There are some things you can do in advance to prepare:
- Remember to do your nails, plan your outfit(s), and gather any props you may want to use ahead of time.
- Research and save inspiration ‘must-have’ pictures so you can share them with your photographer.
Of course, we had to include our fur babies.
I am also a big fan of unique, detailed shots.
It’s not a celebration without a little champagne!
As always, another unforgettable shoot by the one and only Brittany [@ Brit Renee Photo]. Thank you Brittany for doing our new home photoshoot.Â
I hope you leave this post inspired to document the special moments in your life before they pass you by!
Love,
Tori
