Our at-home newborn photo session was a family affair that turned out even dreamier than I could’ve imagined. We had our newborn photos taken following our long stay in the NICU. Sleepless nights and round-the-clock newborn demands can let planning a newborn photo session slide down the priority list, but being intentional about capturing precious milestones is so important. Whether that be literally, with photos, or just mentally, by being truly present for life’s simplest of blessings. That old saying is true, “the days are long, but the years are short” ..and we can’t get them back, so choose your trade-offs wisely. Hug your people. Tell someone you love them. Answer that call from your Granny. Hold your baby for that nap and enjoy this moment before it passes you by.
